We in the Thailand Tourism Industry, would like to share this celebration by inviting you to discover the Royal Initiative Projects of His Majesty the King with several unique travel packages in Thailand that takes you further than you would normally go and see the things you would not normally see at nine chosen Royal Projects.
For the past 60 years of his reign, King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother, and members of the Royal Family have tirelessly worked to improve the quality of life for the Thai people, concentrating especially on the remotest parts of the Kingdom. Where no roads exist, they went, carrying with them His Majesty’s mantra that poverty can be eradicated through improved health, steady income through honest work, and knowledge and understanding through education. The United Nations has recognized His Majesty’s life-long efforts with a first-ofits- kind award for outstanding dedication and achievements in human development.
