Jay Surasen has a very high reputation as a painter of flowers. It’s said amongst collectors of paintings that if you go to Chiang Mai, it’s a must to visit the walking street and take home a flower painting by Jay Surasen. The technique that makes him popular is Acrylic and Chinese brush on canvas with an impressionist style. He started holding solo exhibitions in 2005 and does so only once a year. The most famous exhibition, which made him well known throughout Thailand, is “Thailand’s Heart”, the exhibition to honour H.M. the King on the occasion of his 80th birthday celebration last year.

This year, all art lovers will see more than 60 pieces of his work featuring a variety of flowers at the “Flowers of Love” exhibition, daily from 1st – 30th September 2008 from 10.00 a.m. – 9.00 p.m.
