Underwater World offers you a glimpse of the deep, with 4,000 examples of sealife from 200 species. Unlike many aquariums, this is more than just a collection of over-sized fish tanks. Here, visitors walk through three tunnels to get a fish’s eye view of the ocean.

Underwater World

Underwater World Pattaya is the largest and most modern ocean aquarium in Asia. Underwater World covers an enclosed area, something like a tunnel constructed under water. It is actually a 100-metre-long, 6.4-centimetre-thick acrylic pedestrian tunnel through an underwater environment. This enormous water structure is filled with dozens of marine species.

The aquarium houses more than 4,000 marine animals, comprising more than 200 different species from the region as well as some rare creatures from different parts of the world. The rare shovelnose ray, a hybrid between a shark and a stingray tops in the Visitors must-see list.

Underwater World Pattaya is open on all days in a week from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. This underwater aquarium is a very interesting structure built to entertain the tourists and give them a flavor of diving and watching the aquatic creatures move around them. This is an attempt to the bring to the world the several kinds of fishes which visitors can see very closely.
