LIGHT UP IN THAILAND
EMBRACE tradition in Thailand at the Loi Krathong Festival of Lights this year, when ornately decorated banana leaf floats illuminated with candles and incense sticks drift along the waterways. Student Flights has a nine-day tour that attends the festival in the Sukhothai province, one of Thailand's oldest preserved traditions traditionally held on the full moon night of the twelfth lunar month. The tour also takes travellers to Kanchanaburi, the Bridge over the River Kwai, Tiger Temple, Hell Fire Pass, the old capital of Siam, Ayutthaya and on a rice barge cruise.
From $1299* per person twin share, including seven nights’ hotel accommodation, one night in a floating jungle lodge, transport on tour, an experienced tour leader and local guides, some entrance fees, many meals and sightseeing as per itinerary.
Airfares to Bangkok, where the tour starts and ends, are not included. The tour will depart on October 27, 2009 and is valid for sale until October 26, 2009.
