    Chatuchak Markets open weekends. You can buy EVERYTHING here. Bargain hard! Get there simply on Skytrain.
  • Shopping Centre
    CentralWorld is a spectacular new complex of luxury and everyday goods. Some great specials and a Thai handicrafts centre.

  • Section 3 of Chatuchak Markets (see above)
  • Suan Lum and Siam Square areas have great designer boutiques
  • Siam Square and Gaysorn centres High fashion Youth designs

Hot Tips

  • Walking tour of Thong Lo Get the Skytrain to Thong Lo Station. Get a local bus down Soi 55 (Thong Lo).
  • Get off at New Phetchanburi Rd and amble & shop back to the station. This is a very hip scene (for the moment), few tourists.
  • Floating Markets for night owls. Open Fridays to Sundays from 4.00 PM. It is a little known treasure not on most tourist itineraries . Drive 1 hoursouth from Bangkok to Samut Songkhram. The market is nearby at Amphwan Jatiyram.
