"Born in 1978 in a small town nestled on the banks of the Ma River, Thanh Hoa City is located not far away from Ham Rong, a well-known beauty spot and historical vestige site in Vietnam. Luu Hong Phong was encouraged at a young age to enter the arts. He was sent as a young boy to the art school in Hanoi where he was able to fine tune his expression and talent. Luu continued on teaching art drawing for a few years and then the need to express himself in paintings became a necessity. His paintings reflect the surroundings of his town, the Vietnamese simple life in the country side in its magnificence."
