Suvarnabhumi Airport   Situation Updates
Due to Floods in Bangkok, Central Thailand

Suvarnabhumi Airport is open. All international flights are operating as scheduled. All domestic flights are also operating as per usual.

Don Mueang Airport is closed due to flooding. The two domestic airlines operating from Don Mueang – Nok Air and Orient Thai Airlines – have temporarily switched their operations to Suvarnabhumi Airport. TAT advises the passengers to arrive early at the airport to allow extra check-in time.

All transportation links to and from Suvarnabhumi Airport are operating as per normal. TAT advises the passengers to allow extra travel time as some roads might be affected by flooding or there may be detours on some streets.

Please check the affected areas from TAT Situation Update. Tourists can call the TAT Information Line 1672 to check local conditions in Thailand.

Ayutthaya has been the only tourist destination widely affected by the floods. Major tourist destinations such as Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Sukhothai, Kanchanaburi, Pattaya, Ko Chang, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Ko Samui, and all provinces in southern Thailand, are not affected. They remain fully accessible and are experiencing normal weather conditions for this time of year.
